My many months of cosmetology training were worthwhile but there's something about the tangled hairs of little people that drive me nuts. Combing through the forest of thick locks, the moans, groans and Caniah's squeaky yelp, yes indeed, I would rather be mopping the floors.
Determined that someone else should share my burden, I taught each of my sweet daughters to shampoo their own hairs. I mean, they could handle that. So what if there's a little shampoo on the floor and the tops to our shampoo and conditioner bottles get lost, we should all have the experience of enjoying all those beautiful tangled hairs.
So it's settled. They shampoo and I condition. They comb out and I style. This is much better and we all end up with a happy mommy, daughters, and happy hairs. Now to plan a new lesson...how to clean up shampoo bubbles and replace tops immediately after using shampoo and conditioner bottles.
